- Let it air out for at least 24–48 hours, do not hang it directly in the closet.
- Optionally wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
- Allow to air dry (do not put in the dryer), preferably on a hanger.
- After a few days, the smell should be significantly reduced or completely gone.
